Ivy Tech is part of the 14-region statewide Ivy Tech Community College system - the third largest and fastest growing public higher education system in Indiana. Ivy Tech plays and important role in educating the workforce within the communities we serve.

Our student body is as diverse as Northwest Indiana. We have over 5,300 students representing Lake, LaPorte, Porter, Jasper, Newton, Pulaski and Starke counties. These students represent every demographic group - from traditional college students to senior scholars, from professionals who are seeking to enhance their skills to persons looking to learn a new occupation.

Ivy Tech’s goal is to offer programs that will prepare our students to meet the demands of the workforce and lead to fulfilling careers. We also serve as a stepping-stone for many students’ transition to four-year institutions. We provide over 500 courses that lead to associate degrees or certificates in health, business, liberal arts, public safety and technology.
