Admission Criteria
Admission is dependent upon several factors, which are listed below. The Physical Therapist Admissions
Committee reserves the right to determine eligibility for acceptance into the Physical Therapist Assistant
Program.
The Physical Therapist Assistant Admissions Committee will review all applications and select 20 applicants
per year into the program. Provisional acceptance may be considered if most prerequisites have been met at
the time of application. Final acceptance is determined by the successful completion of all requirements.
The admission criteria are based on the point system. There is a total of 100 points possible in the admission
application. (Please refer to Determination of Applicant's Standing for details, p. 5-6)
The program admits qualified applicants regardless of race, gender, religion, national origin, sexual
