Increasingly, business and industry seek employees who possess not only basic employment/technical skills but also individuals who communicate well, adapt to economic and social change, work as team members, analyze issues, and solve problems. It is essential that students who choose to transfer to four-year colleges and universities also have a firm foundation in these critical areas. A Liberal Arts degree will benefit both individuals who desire a two-year terminal degree and those who intend to transfer to four-year schools. Students at Ivy Tech Community College Northwest may choose two tracks: The Liberal Arts Associate of Science Degree or the Liberal Arts Associate of Arts Degree.
