How to Apply
International students desiring to enroll at Ivy Tech Community College must complete an application for admission, provide a high school transcript and an equivalency evaluation of the transcript, proof of financial solvency and submit the official results from the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL). A TOEFL score of 550 (213 computerized) is required. In addition, international students must also purchase the College's mandatory health insurance plan.
All international students will also be required to complete an on-campus assessment of academic skills. Assessment results may require completion of developmental course work prior to enrolling in program level course work.
Ivy Tech Community College is not a residential college and all students are responsible for providing their own housing and transportation. In many cities, a car is an important consideration.
To be approved for an I-20, F-1 Immigration Status, prospective students are required to submit the following documents:
- Complete admissions application
- Official copies of all academic records
- Secondary education
- Post-secondary education
- Evaluation of all academic records
- Secondary education evaluation
- Post-secondary education evaluation
- Proof of Financial Solvency
- Transfer Student Information (if applicable)
- Official copy of TOEFL scores
- All requirements must be completed and submitted to the regional designated school official at least 60 days prior to the first semester of attendance for which you are applying. All requirements and deadlines are strictly upheld.
