Terms and Conditions All ideas of the "What's Your Idea?" (WYI) campaign should benefit a campus or the Ivy Tech Northwest Region as a whole. All ideas should reflect the spirit of improvement and innovation to better serve the students, staff, faculty, and administration of Ivy Tech Community College of Indiana. Eligibility requirements To be able to submit an idea, one of the following must apply:
  • Ivy Tech Student
  • Ivy Tech Staff
  • Ivy Tech Faculty
  • Ivy Tech Administration
  • Ivy Tech Alumni

WYI committee members and Review committee members are ineligible Criteria for submitting Ideas should be:

  • Innovative (a new and different concept)
  • Feasible (reasonably easy to introduce)
  • Have a high probability of being implemented (practical).
  • Ideas will reflect spirit of importance of I&E and be feasible
  • Not submitted anonymously
  • No limit on submissions
  • Must be submitted from Ivy Tech email address
  • All submissions become the property of What's Your Idea?(WYI) campaign and Ivy Tech Community College (ITCC)
Post-Submission
  • Each idea that is submitted will receive a automatic validation "Thank You" message
  • All ideas submitted will be researched by the Ivy Tech Review Committee of the "What's Your Idea?" campaign."
  • All ideas submitted will pass through two screenings
    • the first screening will identify those ideas deemed worthy of being "recognized" and will be posted on the WYI website along with the name of the individual who submitted the idea
    • the second screening will identify those ideas that have been "selected" as the winning entries
  • All ideas will be reviewed at least once a semester or no less than two times a school year
  • Recognized submissions may be rolled over next semester and held for review
  • Both those individuals whose idea were "recognized" and those individuals whose ideas were "selected" will be honored at a breakfast or luncheon with Chancellor J. Guadalupe Valtierra.
