Chancellor J. Guadalupe Valtierra chats with a student on the first day of classes at the new Valparaiso Campus. The campus officially opened in early August, but classes did not begin until August 21. Programs at the new classes include general education, technology and public services and business. The health sciences classes will still be held at the old campus on Valley Drive until phase II of the construction is complete next year.
