MARKETING FOR NONPROFIT ORGANIZATIONS TO BE OFFERED AT IVY TECH MICHIGAN CITY CAMPUS
More nonprofit organizations are becoming dependent on the use of marketing tools to successfully develop, promote and deliver products and services associated with their mission. To help these organizations use marketing more effectively, Ivy Tech Community College - Michigan City campus will offer a course on Marketing for Nonprofit Organizations during the Spring Semester.
This special interest course will be conducted at the campus on Thursday evenings from 6:00 to 8:40 p.m. beginning January 11, 2007. Participants will be introduced to marketing management with emphasis on the marketing plan, the mission, volunteerism, fund raising, stakeholder management, location strategies, and promotional activities.
The three credit course will be of interest to persons who work in nonprofit environments as volunteers or as paid professionals. It may be of special interest to administrators, managers and volunteer leaders.
