Gary-- Ivy Tech Community College Northwest is now taking registrations for continuing education classes in the "ServSafe Certification Training" seminar scheduled for Monday, December 3, 2007 and Monday, December 10, 2007, from 8am-5 pm. ServSafe is a nationally recognized course dedicated to helping the individual prevent food borne illness potentials. This seminar is a requirement to employ at least one employee in food handling under the Indiana Code 16-45 5.2 which affects restaurants, childcare centers and other establishments that serve food.
