FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE January 8, 2008 Ivy Tech to host community celebration in honor of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Ivy Tech Community College Northwest will host a Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Community Celebration at the Gary Campus, 1440 East 35th Avenue on Friday, January 18, 2008 at 2:00 p.m.-4:00 p.m. The celebration will feature music, poetry and speaker. The event's theme is "STRONG. PROUD. We Remember." The featured speaker is Quentin Smith, former Tuskegee Airman, and musical guest Arison Walton and P.O.R. This event is open to the community.
