Student Identification
Students are required to obtain an identification card (courtesy of the SGA) from the Library on each campus. A completed Course Reservation Form is the most acceptable proof to the library staff for verifying a student's enrollment in courses and the College before a student I.D. card is processed. This is an annual card, which expires in August.
There is no fee for the first I.D. card and lanyard, but there is a $3.00 replacement fee for a lost or missing card and/or lanyard.
The I.D. card must be displayed at all times while on Ivy Tech property. The I.D. card must also be presented to officials of the College upon request. I.D. cards are often requested of the student for checking out materials from the Library, buying books and other supplies from the bookstore, using the computer labs, admittance to health clinical sites, and may be requested to verify enrollment in courses and at the College.
All students are required to have a valid student identification card. I.D. cards are issued from the Library at each campus. Your student I.D. may be required for bookstore purchases and to access various College resources.
