Ivy Tech Community College of Indiana

Tutoring Free tutoring is offered to Ivy Tech students needing individual help with basic skills and program specific courses. This service is available at all four Northwest Ivy Tech campuses, and primarily through the library (at Valparaiso through the General Education Department). Tutoring is generally one-on-one, with some occasional small group tutoring. This peer-tutoring program utilizes student tutors who provide part-time tutoring in the subjects of their expertise.

Appointments by the hour are best made ahead of time with a library staff member or tutor, but walk-ins are welcome if a time slot is open. Internet students taking Ivy Tech distance education courses can also take advantage of this service.
